Welcome to Karra ("Karra", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Karra website and application at karra.net and app.karra.net (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Karra is a private, personal health-tracking companion that helps you record and understand information such as sleep, activity, workouts, nutrition, supplements, medical records, and related notes, and provides AI-generated insights based on that information.
1a. Private beta
Karra is currently offered as an invite-only private beta. Access is provided at our discretion, features may change or be removed, and the Service may be unavailable at times. We recommend you do not rely on Karra as the sole record of important health information.
2. Not medical advice
Karra is provided for informational and personal-tracking purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content and AI-generated insights are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about your health. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access data that is not yours, disrupting the Service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
5. SMS / text messaging terms
Program description. Karra offers an optional, opt-in SMS/text messaging assistant that lets you ask questions about your own health information and receive responses. Messages are conversational and sent only in reply to messages you initiate.
- By opting in and messaging the Karra number, you consent to receive SMS/MMS text messages related to your account.
- Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with the assistant.
- Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out and stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers may vary; message delivery is subject to carrier availability.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information you send by text.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter into Karra. You grant us a limited license to process and store it solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
6a. Connected third-party services
Karra can connect to services you already use — such as Oura, Withings, and Google Health / Fitbit — to import data on your behalf. These connections are optional and only happen after you explicitly authorize them.
- Karra requests the minimum access needed, and requests read-only access where a read-only option exists.
- You can disconnect any service at any time from within the app, which stops all future syncing. You may also revoke access directly with the provider (for Google, at myaccount.google.com/permissions).
- Karra's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Your use of a third-party service remains governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data those services provide.

7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
